Content creator King Mitchy has claimed that internet fraud, popularly known as “Yahoo,” is no longer as lucrative as it used to be, urging young Nigerians involved in it to pivot toward legitimate skills instead.
According to a report by Instablog9ja, Mitchy, speaking in a video, explained that many people who still appear financially comfortable are largely living off money they made and saved in the past, rather than current earnings.
“Yahoo no dey go again. Yahoo no dey pay again,” she said. “Any of your Yahoo brother or sister, send dem money. See dat your Yahoo bros where you think say, ‘Ah, dis guy dem always dey pick,’ na lie o! Na lie o!”
