BREAKING: Terrorists Plan Fresh Attacks On Schools, Worship Centres, NYSC Camps – Police Reveal

According to a report by DAILY POST on Monday 14 September 2026, the Nigeria Police Force has placed its formations across the country on red alert following intelligence indicating that terrorist groups may be planning coordinated attacks on worship centres, schools, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) orientation camps and other public facilities.

The fresh security alert was reportedly triggered by intelligence received by the Force indicating increased mobilisation of suspected terrorist elements ahead of possible attacks on vulnerable locations.

According to reports, security authorities also detected the movement of armed elements from Katsina through Kaduna towards Plateau State.

Following the development, the Police High Command directed its formations nationwide to strengthen security measures and take proactive steps to prevent the suspected attackers from carrying out their plans.
