Troops of the Armed Forces of Nigeria have intensified their nationwide offensive against terrorism, kidnapping and other security threats, neutralising two terrorists and arresting 33 suspected terrorists, informants, spies, logistics suppliers and collaborators within one week.
The operations, conducted across several theatres between September 4 and 10, 2026, also resulted in the surrender of 17 terrorist fighters and their family members, the rescue of an abducted woman and her one-year-old child, as well as the recovery of firearms, ammunition, motorcycles and suspected terrorist logistics supplies. . ;view more / see video
