EXCLUSIVE: I’ve 4 Wives & 19 Children, Some Studied Medicine Just To Help Me Manage My Hospital -Mijinyawa

Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa, founder of Sahad Stores, has expanded his influence beyond retail into healthcare and community development. He said his family plays a central role in these efforts, with four wives and nineteen children actively supporting his mission to serve the public.

During an interview shared by DAILY TRUST on Saturday September 27 2025, he said several of his children pursued medical careers to help operate a hospital he personally established. This initiative, he explained, was part of a shared family goal to improve access to healthcare and provide lasting support to those in need.

He said the hospital is a product of teamwork, combining his business experience with his children’s professional expertise. He also said their collaboration reflects a strong commitment to service and unity.

His words,

“I have four wives and nineteen children. Some of them studied medicine specifically to help manage the hospital I built. It’s a family effort, and I’m proud that they’ve chosen to contribute to something built for the benefit of the community.”
