“Don Jazzy Speaks Candidly on Relationships: ‘I Don’t Think I Can Be Faithful to One Woman’”

Renowned Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records founder, Michael Ajereh—better known as Don Jazzy—has opened up about his personal views on love and fidelity, admitting he doesn’t see himself being sexually committed to just one woman.

Speaking on The Nancy Isime Show, the 42-year-old bachelor explained that one of the key reasons he remains unmarried is his belief that he lacks the discipline to maintain a monogamous relationship.

“I don’t believe that I am strong enough to be with only one person,” he said. “Some people have the strength to be sexually committed once they’re attracted to someone. But for me, the fact that you’re a beautiful woman doesn’t stop me from admiring another beautiful woman.”

Don Jazzy acknowledged that his honesty might drive some people away, but emphasized that he prefers truth over deception in relationships. “I will not be dating you and telling you that you’re the only person. People will run from me for being truthful, but I’d rather not lie to anyone.”

His candid admission comes in the wake of similar comments from fellow Nigerian music icon 2Baba, who recently sparked controversy after stating that men are not naturally wired for sexual exclusivity. The backlash from 2Baba’s comments led to a public apology, where he admitted his words were poorly chosen and expressed remorse to his wife and fans.

Unlike 2Baba, however, Don Jazzy appears unfazed by potential criticism, choosing instead to remain unapologetically transparent about his stance on relationships and fidelity.
