JUST IN: Shehu Sani Reacts As US TV Host Maher Says B’Haram Are Killing Christians For Their Faith In Nigeria

In an interview with Channels Television, Sani said terrorists and bandits do not care about religion when carrying out their attacks. He said both Muslims and Christians have suffered greatly at the hands of terrorists and bandits. He said Churches have been attacked, pastors and priests have been killed, but at the same time, mosques have also been attacked and imams murdered.

Sani said just a few weeks ago, there was an attack on a mosque in Katsina where Muslims were killed. He also said that only a few days ago, another attack took place in Zamfara, and Muslims were again among the victims. He insisted that terrorism in Nigeria affects everyone, regardless of faith.

In Sani’s words: “It is important that people understand that as far as bandits and terrorists are concerned, they do not discriminate their victims on the basis of their faith. Muslims are killed by bandits and terrorists and Christians are killed by bandits and terrorists. They attack churches and mosques, they kill pastors and priests and they also kill Imams. Just some few weeks ago there was an attack in a mosque in Katsina, Muslims were killed. There was an attack some few days in Zamfara where Muslims were killed”
