The Lagos State Lands Bureau has launched a Visitor’s Tag System to improve orderliness, curb fraudulent practices, and streamline land transactions across the state.

Announcing the initiative at the Bureau’s monthly Regulatory Clinic on Thursday, Permanent Secretary Kamar Olowoshago explained that the system aims to enhance security, improve public engagement, and ensure efficient service delivery.

The tags will help identify and direct visitors to the appropriate Directorates or Units, while preventing unauthorized access and fraudulent activities.

“This system ensures visitors are easily recognized and properly attended to, boosting both security and efficiency,” Olowoshago said.

He encouraged the public to comply with the new process, reaffirming the Bureau’s commitment to transparency and seamless land administration.

Olowoshago also highlighted the Regulatory Clinic’s role in addressing land-related issues, refining processes, and gathering stakeholder feedback.
