Lagos Opens Online Portal for Teaching Recruitment, Applications Close October 14

The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has launched its official online portal for candidates interested in teaching jobs across the state.

In a statement issued on Monday, LASUBEB’s Executive Chairman said the recruitment exercise, which has the approval of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is aimed at attracting qualified applicants to strengthen the delivery of quality education in Lagos.

According to the board, eligible candidates include holders of NCE, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND with PGDE, BA with PGDE, and B.Sc with PGDE qualifications. Applications are to be submitted exclusively through the portal: https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng.

The statement emphasized that physical applications would not be accepted and warned applicants against paying money to anyone, stressing that the process is free.

Required documents include an O’ Level Certificate (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), NCE or Degree Certificate, and an NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate. It added that results issued more than two years ago would not be valid.

The application portal will remain open until October 14, 2025.
