I Cried Because Daddy Freeze Never Called After My Salon Fight With Tiwa He Just Took Sides – Shay

Speaking on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Seyi Shay revealed that she was deeply hurt when Daddy Freeze did not personally call to check on her after her public disagreement with Tiwa Savage. She explained that she had looked up to him as a spiritual guide and felt abandoned by his silence during a difficult time.

She recounted visiting him for prayers when she was feeling low but felt he took sides publicly after the incident without reaching out to her privately. This experience made her realize that many people she considered friends were not truly there for her.

Seyi Shay said: “When the whole situation happened with myself and you know who at the salon, a lot of people didn’t actually care to know what the source of that disagreement was. They just took sides. So many people evidently started to just take sides clearly in front of my eyes, people that I was really close with. Nobody checked in. I felt that you of all people should have called me at least to say ‘how far?’ We did have a conversation on your platform but it was a public platform, it wasn’t a personal ‘how far and what’s going on?’ and I felt really hurt, really hurt, distraught because it was you especially. And I cried and cried and cried. I just want to know what was that all about? Like why? Because afterwards I saw you turning it up and living it up with her, you know, making comments and we’re not cool and I just thought okay, this has now become something that I cannot fathom.”
